Arrangements

Here you will find some of the arrangements I have made for songs and/or pieces!

A Cappella task - "Impossible"

For his music task, my brother and I decided to make an a cappella cover of "Impossible" by James Arthur. He sang the lead vocals andI harmonized them. We then added some rhythms. I think it turned out really nice, especially considering my brother has never played an instrument!

Movement by Hozier - Violin Arrangement

We are currently working on this project with younger kids, to cover Hozier's Movement song. I'm in charge of the choreography and the violin part!

Der Mirjambrunnen Waltz

This is a piece that I've rearranged into a Waltz, for our music theory project. The original piece is 'Der Mirjambrunnen'. For our project, which eventually did not take place due to COVID, we had to choose one piece and rearrange it into two other pieces. I chose to arrange one of them, into a waltz.

Pachelbel on one violin

With the app 'GarageBand', I recorded mutliple tracks of myself playing the violin to Pachelbel's famous Canon in D. I'm quite happy with how it turned out (despite the first note always being so incredibly loud...), and it's crazy to think that there is, in fact, only one violin playing!

November 2019

Gemma's composition - "I  Love You But You Make Me So Sad"

I really love that song and since I would like to cover it, I had to find the chords and lyrics myself (some of it might not be completely accurate).

A Cappella task - "Somebody That I Used To Know"

As a part of the 'vocal music' topic, we were asked to arrange a song into an A Cappella version of it. It was definitely challenging, and took some time. My harmonies in this aren't correct (in the chorus), and I'd definitely have to do this again if I want it to sound better.

"Invisible" by Story Untold

-Main Theme (piano)

-Melody (Guitar)

As a band, we wanted to learn this. However, no scores were available. So I decided to make the scores myself and arrange it in a way we could play it! I then made a big lead sheet, which is more of an information sheet to know when which instrument is supposed to play.
