Ground Bass Composition

After talking about ground bass in class, I figured trying to compose something using the same chords/bass notes over and over again (in a similar way as the Pachelbel Canon) would definitely be interesting. During the carnival holidays I got my four wisdom teeth removed, which left me bored and unable to play the violin, to dance or to sing (aka, what I usually do during holidays).  I looked for a chord progression generator online, and this gave me the following chords:

C#m, A7, B, A7. I decided that A would sound better than A7 and that E would be better at the end, instead of A again. I then started composing a melody on top of that, repeating the same 4 chords. This is what I ended up with! I think the cmposition process isdefinitelyinteresting.

This one is very calm. My favourite part is when the guitar comes in.

I started this for music theory, and since I liked it I continued.
