Les Ailes - Restitution

I signed up for a one week 'internship' at a music school. The final goal was to, within a week, finish an original song. We all had to compose the instrumental music, come up with a melody and lyrics and we even learned to interpret it (singing, etc...). At the end, we had the opportunity to perform it in front of the school's professors and the other students. My song is called 'Les Ailes', and this is me performing it on the last day.

Performing an original song, with french lyrics, in front of professional musicians was definitely stressful. But, it was so enriching!

La Petite Mort - Violin

I signed up for a one-week internship in a music school, with a few other musicians. We all wrote a song (more on my song right above!) in one week, but also got the opportunity to accompany others (live!). Here is me playing the violin on my friend's song, called 'La Petite Mort'. Accompanying her, especially live, was really stressful because I didn't want to ruin her song or the energy/... she put into it. However, I enjoyed playing with her so much because it is such a beautiful song. We got along really well, and in the end it was a great experience to play another musician's composition!

Movement by Hozier

Together with the S1 music class, we performed 'Movement' by Hozier at the New Year's Concert. We worked a lot on this, but seeing the result, it was definitely worth it!

We played this song at the Music Cafe. I did speed up though, which made it difficult for my friend to follow... It's also a pity that we didn't think of doing harmonies!

Howling At The Moon

We performed "Howling at the Moon" at the Music Cafe. I remember having so much fun rehearsing for this! This was one of my first ever 'real' performances, especially in singing.
